Craig and Baretta and their team at Presence Design+Build carried out a complete renovation of my home - 2 bathrooms, laundry, kitchen, new timber flooring, carpets and painting. I have been most impressed with the quality of workmanship, attention to detail, communication and personal interaction. To say that I am very happy with the final result is an understatement. The whole process - from initial concepts and planning, through the renovation process to the final product has been very smooth. Craig and Baretta are a lovely couple to deal with and I have been very happy with their design concepts and advice on fixtures, fittings and colours. We worked with Craig and Barretta on some major renovations to our home (added an extra room, all flooring, new downlights throughout, painting, fix all cracks). Great service from the start. Gave us clear indications on what can be achieved and also listened to what our needs were. Quotes were provided with a detailed breakdown which enabled us to make decisions one what we could do (the final figures had less than 2% variance). Craig’s attention to detail is fantastic. He through of the little things that we had no idea about.
The best part was that they delivered to the timeframes that the promised on. Working with Craig is very easy, he keeps you informed on the progress and were flexible with a few changes we requested after the work had commenced.

This was our 3rd bathroom renovation. The other two contractors were OK but there were little issues with the jobs that led us to take up Presence Design for the latest renovation.
We had a very specific specification for the renovation, and Craig and Baretta were very easy to deal with and very forthcoming with design suggestions from other jobs, during the quotation stage. We took up some of their design suggestions.
As in most jobs there were construction challenges during the renovation - and Craig took those in his stride without fuss.
We were very pedantic in our tiling specification for the bathroom. We had selected 600 X 300mm tiles and wanted very thin grout lines. It was essential that the finished walls be flat and square and the overall appearance pleasing to the eye in layout as well as effective for the layout of fittings and accessories. We had spent considerable time in thinking through a suitable tile layout, and handed Craig a drawing of our ideas. (Maybe a bit pretentious on our part.) Craig had some alternative ideas on tile layout based on previous jobs. We had considerable discussion, then agreed on the approach to tile layout. (Craig was very patient with us.) We are very, very pleased with the finished tiling job. The tiler that Craig uses is a VERY good tradesman in his craft. The visual impact from the tiling layout is a stand-out feature of our bathroom.
Overall Craig and Baretta were very easy to deal with, very accommodating of our fussy requirements, and they delivered to us a bathroom that we are very proud of.
